Tèkès ("ceremony") is an original instrumental work for string ensemble, saxophone, synthesizer and percussion. Inspired by spiritual jazz, it brings together musicians rooted in Middle Eastern and contemporary classical traditions, united by improvisation.

The work unfolds in five parts, each embodying a different archetype of the soul. Performers are given extensive freedom for personal expression and real-time musical decisions, guided by gesture and visual signs. Since its release, it has received strong critical reception and radio broadcast. The piece is built to be modular — scalable from a full string ensemble down to smaller chamber configurations — and has been performed to sold-out audiences since early 2026. An extended group, with harp in addition, will be recording Tèkès #2 at the beginning of '27.
